Preliminary Engineering Project Milestones

Preliminary Engineering is underway for the transportation elements of the Thrive 105-93 Corridor Plan. The Corridor follows the north-south route of RTA’s #10 bus along E. 105th Street, Woodhill Road and E. 93rd Street.
During Preliminary Engineering, more detailed information is collected by conducting field investigations, other technical studies, and engineering. This effort builds upon and refines the transportation recommendations of the Corridor Plan and identifies and evaluates feasible alternatives.
A primary result of Preliminary Engineering phase is a preferred transportation alternative recommendation, based on multiple considerations including project conditions and public feedback. The preferred alternative will include construction cost estimates that will be used to seek construction funding. There is currently not construction funding in place for the next phase.
